Gabriella's First Communion

It's First Communions season! Last weekend was my goddaughter and niece Olivia's First Communion, and this weekend it was both Gabriella's and my niece Antonia's. Of course we wish we were able to go to Antonia's just like my brother and Melissa wished they could come to Gabriella's, but what can you do? My poor parents of course hussled to make it to both. I'm so glad they could. Grandparents are so important!

You know I love to go all out for parties, especially once-in-a-lifetime events like Audriana's christening, but Gabriella was the focus of our day and she's not about over-the-top stuff. She wanted something really simple with just close family and friends. After the church ceremony, we went to a restaurant that was decorated with blue, green and white. I had face painters and balloon artists and tons of kids activities and Gabriella was able to be herself and run around. I even let her get her face painted while she was in her beautiful dress! But that's how she is and I want her to be true to herself. After the party when we were walking in the parking lot, she said to me, "Mama, thank you for my party. It was the best day ever!" She's so sweet and considerate, I almost cried. I love all my girls, and I love Gabriella.

My Goddaughter's First Communion

Today we celebrated my niece (Joe's brother Pete's daughter) Olivia's First Communion. It was a very special day for our family since she's also my goddaughter. Milania Professional Hair Care line debuted at the International Beauty Show in New York City this past week and the crowds went wild! My business partner, beauty industry veteran Jerel James Sabella, and I were on hand all three days of the show to meet salon owners, stylists and pro beauty notables and spread the word about Milania Professional Hair Care’s products.Over 57,000 excited and energetic attendees came to see the latest innovations and trends during the show. Milania Professional Hair Care was such a hit that we sold out of more than 5,000 kits! During the event, I also received surprised visits from some of the Real Housewives of New Jersey & New York, as well as beauty industry icons who stopped by to congratulate us on the line’s success.This was such a great show and it was a pleasure meeting so many taltented stylists and salon professionals! I Had a Great Time!

I had a great time promoting Milania Hair Care this past Saturday! The signing events were a success & as always, I loved meeting all of my fans! Early in the afternoon I was at Hair by David Salon in Kearny, NJ and I met some really wonderful people. The staff was so friendly & the owner David was full of energy and so accommodating. Of course everyone was raving about Milania Hair Care and how amazing it truly is.

Later in the afternoon I headed to Uptowne Girl in Montclair. During the event the stylists were offering blow outs using the Milania products & all proceeds benefited The Nephcure Foundation. Which was great, because I hold this charity very close to my heart! I even rolled up my sleeves & helped a stylist with a few blow outs. I heard a lot of comments about how great it smelled & how soft & shiny it made their hair feel. I was thrilled with how the day went & I want to say a huge thank you to everyone involved. I look forward to seeing everyone at the next salon event!!
